The Board of Directors’ responsibilities include establishing policy, providing oversight, and setting direction and vision to ensure SDRMA meets its mission, obligations and commitment to its members.
Board meetings are held on a regularly scheduled basis on the first Wednesday and Thursday of the month (occasional exceptions). Meetings are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code Section 54950 et seq.).
SDRMA’s Board of Directors consist of seven directors elected from member agencies participating in both SDRMA’s Property/Liability and Workers’ Compensation Programs.
Special District Risk Management Authority is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Special District Risk Management Authority
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
