Our Risk Control team is dedicated to assisting members with their loss reduction efforts. We help members identify potential hazards and exposures with the goal of preventing incidents before they happen. Our team works with members to implement effective safety measures and provides valuable resources to help create a safer workplace. By focusing on proactive risk management, we help reduce losses and promote a culture of safety across special districts.

The Liability Claims team assists members in managing their covered losses or claims, which may involve damage to structures/equipment; liability claims against members; employment practice claims; and auto accidents.  This involves working closely with members to investigate and assess damage, potential liability, and to develop strategies for resolutions that may include retaining and directing defense counsel to protect member interests.  We aim to proactively assess member exposure for prompt resolution of claims/potential liability exposure.
